The Hartwick Town Board also serves in the capacity of the Board of Water Commissioners and meets every other month at the Town Hall to discuss water supply issues. The water supply currently serves the hamlet of Hartwick – including approximately 250 customers.
Responsibilities:
Water Service Problems: Any problems with water service should be directed to the Highway Superintendent at 607-293-8889.
Water Quality Problems: Quinton Hasak and Bruce Wellman, Jr. are the Water Operators for the Town of Hartwick Water Supply System. They are responsible for daily water monitoring and testing. They work closely with the Department of Health to ensure our quality exceeds established standards. Additionally, they monitor all equipment and service areas relating to our wells and pumps.
