Town Supervisor

Responsibilities
The Supervisor is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town and presides at all meetings of the Town Board. He executes all Board-authorized contracts on behalf of the Town. The Supervisor establishes all committees on the Board and appoints its members. As the Town’s Chief Fiscal Officer, the Supervisor has custody and responsibility for all Town funds and investments. State mandates require a detailed financial report be prepared annually by the Supervisor. The Supervisor has been designated as Budget Officer and has responsibility for preparation of the Preliminary Town Budget.
